By creating an account or using LCALens you agree to these terms.

The service

LCALens provides software for calculating and managing greenhouse gas emissions data. Features described as “in development” are not part of the service until released.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the activity data you enter and for how you use results.
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure and enable multi-factor authentication where available.
• Do not attempt to access other organisations’ data or disrupt the service.

Results and assurance

Results depend on your input data and the factors selected. LCALens does not provide third-party verification or assurance, and use of LCALens does not by itself make a report compliant with any standard or regulation.

Third-party data

Emission factors come from third-party publishers under their own licences, which are shown with each source. UK Government factors are used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update these terms and will notify account holders of material changes.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LCALens is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
